Une construction très propre, avec les caillebotis d'entre pont parfaitement intégrés dans les passavants.
A very clean construction, with the deck gratings perfectly integrated in the gangways.

Thank you all for your kind comments. It's the first ship build I have ever attempted and am quite pleased with build so far myself.........however, I think I have probably completed the easiest part of the build with much more intricate work to follow!!

C'est la première construction de navire que j'ai jamais essayée et je suis assez satisfait de la construction jusqu'à présent moi-même ......... cependant, je pense avoir probablement terminé la partie la plus facile de la construction avec un travail beaucoup plus complexe à suivre!

Bonjour, Est-ce que quelqu'un a une technique pour former les entretoises autour du caps de mouton et les autres entretoises s'il vous plaît? Je parviens à les former mais c'est un processus très lent.

 
Hi, Does anyone have a technique for forming the braces around the clump block and the other braces please? I am managing to form them but it is a very slow process.

Cette Flore est vraiment montée très proprement ! Bravo !
Peut être que les caps de mouton des haubans auraient dû être tous au même niveau. Mais c'est un peu tard, et ça ne gène que très peu l'esthétique générale de ton bateau.
Tu pourrais faire un gros plan du château arrière ? Comme j'ai reconstruis complètement le mien, je ne sais pas comment celui du kit a comme apparence.

Hi Elkis, thanks for your compliment. I accept your criticism regarding the shroud sheep caps............I found it quite difficult to keep them on the same level. However, I thought that in real life, maybe they wouldn't necessarily have been on the same level due to variation in the stretching of the ropes of that era when applying tension. That's my excuse anyway!
Here follows a close up of the castle as requested. It doesn't in any way reach the standard of yours but I didn't have the time nor inclination to depart from the standard build.

Je faisais une remarque (et non une critique) sur les caps de mouton comme je l'aurais fait pour n'importe quel bateau.

Encore une fois, cette Flore est vraiment bien faite, au maximum de ce que Constructo permet.
Et merci pour la photo du château dont tu as pu faire quelque chose de bien.

Far be it from me to compare your Flore because I've built one!
I never do that...
I was making a remark (and not a criticism) on the dead eyes as I would have done for any Vessel.

Once again, this Flore is really well made, to the maximum of what Constructo allows.
And thank you for the photo of the castle you were able to make something good out of it.

This Flore is well executed but much remains to be done.
You are on the good way.

If you have any doubts in any situation, don't hesitate to ask questions.

Hi, just a little help required please as it isn't clear to me from both the pictures in the manual or the drawings how the fairleads attach to the ship. Do they loop under the bowsprit as the sketch and supported by the overhead cables or are they attached to the bowsprit in another way? Thanks in advance.

No, you're right. They're just passing under the bowsprit for that frigate. They're stretched by the overhead cables.
In fact, these fairleads just group all the ropes coming from the bowsprit, but they don't have any other role in tension.

The frigates of the 18th were simplified warships to be built and rigged quickly and in series.
If we were on a 3-deck, the elements would be made and attached differently.

H Ekis, on your 8 pages of posts.........La Flore-1:84-Constructo, I'm sure you had many pictures on there showing stage by stage construction of your model. Now there are only a few pictures on the whole 8 pages. Where have they gone to?

I also have admiration for your workshop and equipment you have......I can only work from a table within my house. I have a workshop outside but it isn't set up for model making.
